The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Colin Fotheringham and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stark wants to clinch up but Hatton keeps it at a distance.

Hatton takes the fight into the clinch.

Hatton has clasped his hands together around Stark's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Hatton tries to advance to mount but Stark instead regains half guard.

Stark working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hatton doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hatton manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Stark is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hatton pulls his head out easily.

Hatton has control of Stark's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Stark regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Stark postures up.
Stark throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Stark pushes down on Hatton's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Hatton has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Stark is working away from the top position though.
Hatton is trying to get back to full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Stark is thwarting Hatton's attempts to control the position.
Hatton might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Stark kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Fatman Hatton showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Despite being in the dominant position, Fatman Hatton just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Stark shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hatton's guard.
Hatton takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Stark drops back looking for a leg! Hatton is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hatton manages to kick Stark off! Stark jumps back into Hatton's guard.

Stark is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Hatton is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Hatton has escaped and now he's on top!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Hatton stalling away here and it's allowed Stark to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Stark has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Hatton is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Stark.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hatton seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Stark does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Hatton is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Stark can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
