Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, William Gold and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Other gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Striker.
Striker moves away from the strike by Other.
Other looks for a takedown but Striker sprawls well.
Other shoots in and drives through. Striker sprawls well.
A telegraphed right hand from Other misses the target.
Other tries to bum rush Striker with a series of wild strikes but Striker uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Other swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Striker keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
A Striker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Something Other.

Other shoots for a double leg takedown but Striker sprawls well. He's pushed Other's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Other takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Other has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Striker finds it's way round the side to connect with Other's head.

Striker works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Other darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Other fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Something Other seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Other tries to clinch but Striker is having none of it.

Striker uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Other.
Other takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Striker slaps away a takedown attempt from Other, before circling back to the center of the mat.
A left and a right from Striker both land. Nice combination.
Other will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Other seems to have recovered his senses.

Other fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Striker manages to avoid it.
Other tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Other is trying desperately to land a takedown but Striker is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Other.

Other closes the distance and clinches up with Striker, looking for a takedown. Other pushes Striker against the cage but Striker circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Striker connects with a single shot there.
Other on the wrong end of a nice hook.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Striker has cracked Other with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Striker lands another huge swinging hook and Other tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Other, before Striker can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). A Striker!
