Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Russell Bell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Chong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chong is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Get Down On The Ground. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Russell Bell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bob Chong! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Patrick Alders and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chong takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Bell avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Chong tries for a takedown but Bell sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Bell takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Some wild striking there from Chong.
A big left from Chong misses. Bell works over Chong's head and body with a nice combination. Bell moves into range and clinches up with Chong. Chong jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bell walks away with a smile on his face. Chong gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Bell defending well as Chong loads up on a big left hand. Chong uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bell.
Bell lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Chong throws a jab but it's blocked by Bell. A left and a right from Bell both land. Nice combination. Chong throws a hook to the side of Bell's head but Bell sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Chong lands a right hook to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bell clobbers Chong with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Bob Chong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bell slips under a jab. Chong lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Bell sprawling to the canvas. Chong follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Bell hang on?
Bell is rocked!
It looks like Russell Bell has been cut. Chong is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Oh Bell is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Chong is looking for submissions but instead, Bell has regained full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chong is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Bell seems to have got his legs back now. Chong looks gassed! Chong looking to pass the guard. Bell not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bell wants to sweep here but Chong controlling him for the moment. Chong trying to move into half guard but instead Bell has managed to sweep! Chong keeping full guard, as Bell tries to pass.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Chong is on top in guard.
Chong is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Chong is pushing down on Bell's leg trying to pass to half guard. Bell is fighting to maintain full guard but Chong has managed to sneak the leg through. Chong passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Bell! Bell prevents Chong from taking his back. Chong moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Bell has worked his arm free - good work by Bell!
Chong tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Chong has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bell wants to get back to his feet but Chong drags him back down. Bell tries to buck Chong off but Chong is having none of it. Chong tries for a kimura but Bell is defending well. Bell throws Chong to one side and escapes! Bell moves into the clinch. Chong tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bell smiles and moves away.
Russell Bell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bob Chong. Chong connects with a nice looking jab.
Chong takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Bell defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Chong. Bell looks to land a combination. Chong sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Bell takes a swing at Chong's ribcage but misses. Bell throws a series of punches but Chong moves out of range. Bell lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Chong backs up against the cage.

Bell staying out of range there. Chong throws a big shot that misses. Chong swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Bell connects with a good right hand that stumbles Chong. Chong circles away out of range and recomposes himself. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Chong showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Bell.

Bell uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. A shot to de liver by Bell. Beautiful body shot. Bell plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Chong throws out a loose jab but Bell uses good head movement to avoid it. Bell dips down and scores with a jab to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Bob Chong will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Russell Bell's cut. That's time! Bell's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Chong fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Bell throws a right and a left that Chong avoids nicely. Bell uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Chong. Bell thumps Chong with a low kick. Chong misses with a double jab
and Bell counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Chong is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Bell scores with a shot to the body.
Bell connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Bell fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Chong looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Bell lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Bell lands a lovely overhand right. Chong is breathing heavily. Chong shoots in for a takedown but Bell shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Bell connects with a body shot.

Chong uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Bell has time to react. Bell ducks under a wild hook from Chong. Bell tests Chong's chin there with a solid looking shot. A jab from Bell does it's job there. Bell lands a body shot.

Chong might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Chong throws an overhand right that lands on Bell's shoulder, as Bell tries to avoid the shot. Chong misses with an uppercut. Bell saw that one coming. Bell cracks Chong with a right hand to the side of the head. Bell lands a jab to the nose. Bell gets in close and instigates a clinch. Chong tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Bell just stands there and leans against the cage. Chong is trying desperately to land a takedown but Bell is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Chong. Chong fails to pull guard.

That sent Chong stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Bell works the jab nicely. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bell wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Good standup being displayed there by Bell as he connects with a hook. Bell lands a two punch combo.
Chong moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Bell lands with a nice body punch. Bell dips down and scores with a jab to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters circling - Chong throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Bell lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Bell. Chong takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Chong has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Bell breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Bell lands a nice shot to the body.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Chong throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Bell lands a jab to Chong's midsection. Bell works the jab nicely. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bell paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Bell scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
And that's the end of the fight! Russell Bell showed his dominance in that final round. I think Bell has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
