Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Trent Chapel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chapel kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Madsen - Nitro. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chapel is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Rogers has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Rogers!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rogers is looking to advance position but Chapel has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Rogers wants to get back to his feet.
Chapel unloads with some shots from mount but Rogers bucks and avoids them well.

Chapel has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Rogers holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Chapel tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Chapel looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Rogers's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Well Chapel has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
