Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Daytona Fernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kane Razmig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daytona Fernandez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kane Razmig! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Jorge Garcia and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Razmig looks to land a combination but Fernandez avoids it well. Razmig tries a head kick but it misses.

Razmig lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Razmig throws a sloppy head kick and Fernandez moves out of range easily. Fernandez moves into range and connects with a jab. Razmig throws a head kick but Fernandez moves out of range.

Fernandez throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Razmig misses with a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fernandez scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Fernandez not landing any meaningful shots this time. Fernandez missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Razmig keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Fernandez not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Razmig is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Razmig avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Fernandez. Razmig won't allow Fernandez to pass to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Fernandez is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Razmig has managed to free his arm - good work.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Razmig falls off balance throwing a combination
and Fernandez counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Razmig misses with a looping left. Razmig misses with a leg kick and Fernandez counters with a takedown into side control. Fernandez sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Razmig is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Razmig tries to buck Fernandez off but Fernandez is having none of it. Razmig is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fernandez tries for a kimura but Razmig is defending well. Fernandez is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Razmig knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Fernandez with the ground and pound but Razmig regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Razmig has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Fernandez is working away from the top position though. Fernandez missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Fernandez is looking for a kimura here.
Razmig tries to roll over but Fernandez keeps him under control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Daytona Fernandez dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Razmig throws a half hearted mid kick. Fernandez rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Razmig moves out of range and avoids them all easily. A head kick by Razmig misses and Fernandez counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Fernandez postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Razmig is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Fernandez, into his guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Razmig got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fernandez has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Razmig has managed to get both his arms back between Fernandez's legs - danger averted.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fernandez is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fernandez looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Razmig passes into side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Fernandez wants to control but Razmig postures up. Razmig wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fernandez keeps working.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Excellent takedown into side control there by Fernandez. Fernandez scores with a couple of short elbows.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fernandez looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Razmig is avoiding damage well.
Fernandez tries to score with some ground and pound. Razmig controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Fernandez looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Fernandez is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Razmig knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Fernandez in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Fernandez working away. Razmig is looking for a sweep. Razmig is trying to control Fernandez's posture but Fernandez avoids it.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Fernandez misses with a combination
and Razmig counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Fernandez is lucky that one didn't land flush. A low kick from Razmig misses and Fernandez counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Razmig! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Daytona Fernandez dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Fernandez shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Fernandez thows a big elbow that misses. Fernandez postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Fernandez slips nicely into half guard. Daytona Fernandez overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Fernandez seems to be looking for submissions.
Fernandez not landing any meaningful shots this time. Fernandez is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fernandez thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Razmig's head. Razmig avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Fernandez. Fernandez looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Fernandez is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Razmig! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fernandez looking to finish with strikes here!
Razmig is trying desperately to improve position. Fernandez is in the full mount, landing strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Razmig is trying to stand. Fernandez is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Razmig has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Razmig! Fernandez looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Razmig has picked Fernandez up and slammed him! Fernandez can't keep hold of the triangle and Razmig manages to pass to side control! Fernandez struggling a bit here. Fernandez is trying to escape the position but Razmig is controlling the position. Razmig working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Fernandez is trying to get back to half guard. Fernandez is trying to control Razmig's posture but Razmig avoids it. Fernandez has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Fernandez is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
And that's the end of the fight! Daytona Fernandez showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Fernandez, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
