Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bryan Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xuribiba Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, David Schapiro and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Green shoots and misses
and Silva counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Silva.
Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Green swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Silva won't allow Green to get back to his feet.

Silva is looking to take a break and control but Green is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Silva has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Silva connects with a nice short shot to Green's temple.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Green has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Silva can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Silva working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Silva takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Silva thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Silva wants to take a breather but Green is having none of it.
Silva is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Green!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Xuribiba Silva showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Silva shoots in looking for a takedown. Green tries to sprawl out of it but Silva keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Green manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Silva throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Green was covering up waiting for the punch and Silva finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Silva postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Silva shoots in but no luck this time.
Silva feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

I've got Silva winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
