Del Carma comes into a darkened arena with his song building. 300 Violin Orchestra-Jorge Quintero kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Del Carma avoids the head kick by Pullistelija.

Pullistelija throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Del Carma's waist but Del Carma gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pullistelija off to one side.

Del Carma must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Del Carma decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Pullistelija tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

and Del Carma counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Del Carma wants to stand but Pullistelija has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Pullistelija is refusing to be controlled, as Del Carma sits in half guard.
Del Carma tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Pullistelija.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

and Pullistelija counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Del Carma can do anything to dispel that myth.
Pullistelija stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Del Carma swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Anderson Del Carma has got the better of the ground game so far.
Del Carma throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Pullistelija is standing up over Del Carma. Del Carma looks to escape but Pullistelija dives into side control.
Del Carma is trying to get back to half guard.
Del Carma bucks up and tries to throw Pullistelija off but instead Pullistelija has got his back!
Pullistelija has the hooks in. Del Carma is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Pullistelija is really struggling to control Del Carma but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Can Del Carma hold on?! Pullistelija is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
Del Carma is in bad spot here.

Pullistelija is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Del Carma has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Pullistelija has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Del Carma taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Pullistelija doesn't care though - he's delighted!
