Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Girly closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Donell did well to prevent Girly getting side control.
Donell actively working from the bottom here.
Donell is looking for a sweep. Girly is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Girly looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Girly moves into full mount! Donell won't be happy about that!
Girly throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Donell is squirming around, avoiding Girly's attempts to control the action.
Donell tries to hold on but Girly pushes him away.
Girly can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Donell is looking to escape.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Donell tries to lock up and control but Girly gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Girly looking to control but Donell is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Girly really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Donell. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Donell manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Donell looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Girly wants to stand up but Donell has a hold of him and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Donell is pressing down on Girly's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Donell looking to control.
Donell lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Girly!
Girly is trying to escape the mount.

Donell really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Donell takes Girly's back.
Girly is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Donell off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

Donell is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Girly defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
I really don't envy Girly right now.
Donell working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Donell is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Girly has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Donell has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Girly taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Donell doesn't care though - he's delighted!
