Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marcos Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dario Conca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Marcos Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dario Conca! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Thiago Cunha and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Conca slaps away a takedown attempt from Silva, before circling back to the center of the mat. Silva shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Silva is thwarting Conca's attempts to control the position. Conca is looking for a sweep. Silva is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Silva is keen to just control but Conca is a slippery customer. Conca is trying to stand up here but Silva is controlling him well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Conca is looking to control Silva's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Conca avoid being mounted? Silva is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Conca has managed to free his arm - good work. Conca is staying active underneath Silva, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Conca is trying to get back to full guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Conca shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Silva counters with a single leg into guard. Conca didn't expect that. Conca looking to control.
Silva advances to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Conca is trying to get back to full guard. Conca is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Conca wants to control but Silva is keeping busy and won't allow it. Silva content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Conca is trying to stand back up but Silva is controlling him
Conca is looking to improve his position.
Ground and pound from Silva. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Conca keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Conca is trying to control but can't.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcos Silva dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Silva doesn't succeed with the takedown and Conca counters with a nice double leg into side control. Silva won't be happy with that. Silva seems a little lost for a moment, as Conca dominates the positioning. Conca taking a break here but Silva is having none of it and regains half guard. Silva is not content to let Conca control the position. Conca is looking to stall here but Silva recovers full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Conca wants to pass the guard but Silva is keeping the position. Conca trying to control the position from guard on top but Silva is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Despite being in the dominant position, Dario Conca just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Conca doesn't succeed with the takedown and Silva counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Silva passes easily into side control. Nice work. Silva tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Silva has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva trying to control the action but Conca is working from the bottom. Silva working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Silva trying to control the action but Conca is working from the bottom. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Silva working away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Marcos Silva will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Conca closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Conca tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Silva. Silva holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Silva is trying to maintain the position but Conca is very close to passing his half guard. Conca wants to stand up but Silva has a hold of him and won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Conca takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Silva is looking to improve his position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Conca is working for a submission of some sort.
Conca takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Conca is looking to stall here but Silva recovers full guard. Dario Conca has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Conca stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Silva swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Conca stands and throws Silva's legs to the side, diving into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Silva being controlled for a moment. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Conca wants to control but Silva is keeping him busy.
And that's the end of the fight! Dario Conca comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Silva has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
