And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gegard Sipowicz!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Anthony Taglia and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sipowicz swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Wayne slips a straight right by Sipowicz.
Sipowicz takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Sipowicz gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Wayne.
Sipowicz throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Sipowicz checks the leg kick.
Sipowicz misses with an uppercut. Wayne saw that one coming.
A cross from Wayne lands.
A swing and a miss from Sipowicz.
Wayne throws a shot from downtown. Sipowicz moves away and avoids it.
Wayne defending well as Sipowicz loads up on a big left hand.
Wayne slips under a jab from Sipowicz.
Wayne lands a two punch combo.
Sipowicz on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Good shot there by Wayne.
Wayne scores with a hook to the body. Sipowicz takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Sipowicz throws a nice looking combination but Wayne bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Sipowicz waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Wayne.
Wayne ducks under a wild hook from Sipowicz.
Sipowicz keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Sipowicz throws a big shot that misses.
Sipowicz throws an overhand right that lands on Wayne's shoulder, as Wayne tries to avoid the shot.

Wayne shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Wayne thowing shots but they're missing.
Sipowicz working to try and regain half guard.
Wayne unloads with some shots from mount but Sipowicz bucks and avoids them well.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Sipowicz is trying desperately to improve position.
Wayne has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Poor strikes thrown by Wayne there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sipowicz can do anything to dispel that myth.
Wayne lands a nice shot to the head.


Sipowicz is rocked!

Wayne cracks Sipowicz with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
