Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Swick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Swick! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Harrison! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Russell Pearce and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Swick throws a series of punches but Harrison avoids them all with ease. Harrison lands with a shot to the body. Harrison dodges the punch combination from Swick.
Swick throws a right and a left that Harrison avoids nicely. Swick swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Swick is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Swick tries to close the distance and clinch up but Harrison swats him away and circles back towards the center. Harrison swats away the attempt to clinch by Swick. Swick looks to land a combination but Harrison avoids it well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Swick goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Swick displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Harrison throws out the jab. Swick thows a body shot but no joy. Harrison looks to throw the jab but Swick is out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Swick moves away from the strike by Harrison. Harrison is looking to chop away at Swick's legs. Harrison checks the leg kick nicely there.

and Swick counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Swick. Swick wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Swick's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Harrison scores with a takedown into Swick's guard. Harrison stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Swick swivels though and keeps the full guard. Swick is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Harrison is controlling him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Swick keeping moving, preventing Harrison from controlling successfully. Swick is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Harrison is controlling him. Harrison is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Swick is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Swick throws a jab when Harrison was well out of range. Harrison lands an overhand right.
It looks like Mike Swick has been cut. Harrison blocks a head kick by Swick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Swick misses with a head kick.
Swick avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Swick tries to close the distance and clinch up but Harrison swats him away and circles back towards the center. Swick closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Harrison to the mat! Harrison manages to get full guard. Swick is breathing heavily. Harrison working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Swick doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Swick manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Harrison looking to hit a scissor sweep but Swick is one step ahead there. Swick has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Swick wants to stand but Harrison is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Swick is fighting to break Harrison's control of his arms but Harrison is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Harrison is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Harrison trying to control the pace. Harrison trying to control the action but Swick is working from the bottom. Harrison slips a nice elbow through Swick's hands, connecting with Swick's forehead. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Harrison dominated that round. The cut man is working on Mike Swick's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Swick throws a combination that misses and Harrison scores with a counter punch that sends Swick to the canvas! Harrison smells blood - he's punishing Swick with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Swick has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Harrison!
