The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pantera slaps away a takedown attempt from Sanchez, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Sanchez throws a low kick, looking for Pantera's leg but Pantera calmly moves out of range.
Horrible takedown by Sanchez or perhaps it was just good defense by Pantera which made him look bad.
Pantera moves out of range as Sanchez strikes.
Pantera uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sanchez.
Sanchez closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pantera circles away.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Pantera is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Sanchez pulls his head out easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pantera throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sanchez was covering up waiting for the punch and Pantera finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Pantera is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Sanchez has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Sanchez!

Pancho Pantera showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Pantera counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Sanchez!
Pantera lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Kevin Sanchez has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Pantera goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Sanchez turns into him and now he's in Pantera's guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

I've got Pantera winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
