Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Slater BearWulf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Helen Keller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Slater BearWulf! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Helen Keller! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, John Mangel and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! BearWulf will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. BearWulf scores with a takedown into Keller's guard. BearWulf drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Keller dives on top into guard. Keller looking to pass the guard. Keller wants to stand but BearWulf is controlling his posture from full guard. Keller in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. BearWulf preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Keller missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Keller has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of BearWulf is proving hard to escape from. Keller wants to stand and escape but instead BearWulf has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. BearWulf is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Keller is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Keller has escaped and now he's on top! Keller has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Keller tries to stand but BearWulf is controlling from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Keller postures up in BearWulf's guard and throws a big left but BearWulf blocks it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. BearWulf has a closed guard, preventing Keller from standing up. Keller looks gassed! Keller pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. BearWulf is keeping the position for now. Keller is looking to work some ground and pound but BearWulf has wrist control. BearWulf pulls Keller in to control the position. Keller stands up from guard. Let's bang!
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. BearWulf takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. BearWulf shoots in for a double leg but Keller sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Keller shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Keller was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Keller gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Keller misses the shot to the body. BearWulf gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Keller to score an easy takedown into full guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Keller accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Helen Keller dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
BearWulf drives through with a takedown into guard. Keller wants to control the position but BearWulf says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. BearWulf trying to pass the guard but Keller defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. BearWulf is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Keller defends it well. Keller moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Keller working a defensive guard here.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Keller pulls BearWulf in close to prevent any damage. BearWulf drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Keller manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now BearWulf has Keller in his guard. Keller throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as BearWulf works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Keller thows a big elbow that misses. Keller throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Keller decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on BearWulf, up you get! Keller lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. BearWulf doesn't succeed with the takedown and Keller counters with a single leg into guard. BearWulf didn't expect that. BearWulf trying to keep a closed guard but Keller is proving a slippery customer.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Keller is looking to stand up but BearWulf won't let him. Keller trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Keller drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but BearWulf manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Keller has BearWulf in his guard. That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. BearWulf pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Keller is keeping the position for now. Keller pulls BearWulf in close to prevent any damage. BearWulf drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Keller manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now BearWulf has Keller in his guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Helen Keller showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Keller has BearWulf up against the cage in a clinch.
BearWulf jumps guard and drags Keller to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Keller tries to free his leg and advance position but BearWulf is retaining full guard. Keller is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Keller gets to his feet - BearWulf follows without any prompting. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. BearWulf with a lazy takedown attempt and Keller counters by moving into the clinch. Keller has hold of one of BearWulf's legs. BearWulf is fighting the takedown attempt but Keller gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. BearWulf keeping moving, preventing Keller from controlling successfully. Keller trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. BearWulf preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. BearWulf keeping full guard, as Keller tries to pass. Keller wants to stand but BearWulf is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Keller throwing strikes from guard but BearWulf blocks nicely. Keller tries to stand but BearWulf is controlling from the bottom. Keller throws and elbow that misses. BearWulf uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Keller's guard. Nice move by BearWulf!
That's three minutes gone in the round. BearWulf thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Slater BearWulf has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Keller rushes BearWulf and presses him up against the cage. Keller breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Keller fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with BearWulf, pushing him back against the cage. BearWulf fails to pull guard.
Keller has picked BearWulf up - he's going for a ride! Keller dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. BearWulf on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Keller is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Keller thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed BearWulf's head. BearWulf flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
BearWulf has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Keller is working away from the top position though. Keller seems to be looking for submissions.
And that's the end of the fight! Helen Keller comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Keller has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
