Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Castle has closed the distance and engaged Lopez in a clinch.
Castle has Lopez pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Castle pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Lopez tumbling to the mat - Castle dives into Lopez's guard. Lopez throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Castle controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Castle must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Castle distracts Lopez with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Castle postures up.
Castle's corner is telling him to maintain position. Castle throwing strikes but missing. Lopez trying to keep a closed guard but Castle is proving a slippery customer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Castle missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Castle has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Lopez is proving hard to escape from. Castle drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Lopez dives on top into guard. Castle keeping moving, preventing Lopez from controlling successfully. Lopez won't allow Castle to get back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lopez postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Castle is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Lopez, into his guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Castle wants to control from the top but Lopez keeps moving. Lopez looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Castle passes into half guard.
Lopez is breathing heavily. Castle is trying to control the action in half guard but Lopez is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Castle looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lopez with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lopez has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Castle is working away from the top position though. Castle winds up and cracks Lopez with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Castle is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. Castle throwing strikes from guard but Lopez blocks nicely. Lopez preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Castle wants to control from the top but Lopez keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Castle passes Lopez's left leg - he's now in half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Castle in particular looking to stall. Castle wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lopez keeps working. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Castle lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Nice strikes from Castle there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Max Castle dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Castle throws a head kick that misses. Lopez fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Castle avoids it really well and circles away. Gabriel Lopez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lopez takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

It looks like Gabriel Lopez has been cut. Lopez misses with a series of wild punches.
Lopez throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Castle's waist but Castle gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lopez off to one side. Lopez takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Castle throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Castle tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lopez was well out of range. Poor timing from Castle. Castle throws a head kick that misses. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Lopez takes a kick to the side of the head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Castle lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Castle tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Castle throws a head kick that half lands.
Nice sprawl there from Castle as Lopez shoots in. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gabriel Lopez. That's going to take a lot out of him. Castle scores with a head kick.
Castle throws a head kick that misses. Castle pushes Lopez up against the cage in a clinch. Castle is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Lopez tries to pull guard but Castle won't allow it.

and Lopez counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Lopez tries to clinch and Castle counters with a big head kick but Lopez shrugs it off. Castle slaps away a takedown attempt from Lopez, before circling back to the center of the mat. Lopez shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A decent looking body kick lands there for Castle. Castle tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Lopez goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Castle misses with the combination.
Lopez shoots in looking for a takedown. Castle tries to sprawl out of it but Lopez keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Castle manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Gabriel Lopez is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Castle fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lopez, pushing him back against the cage. Castle pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Castle gets caught flat footed, as Lopez shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Castle really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lopez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Castle has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lopez trying to control but Castle is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lopez is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Lopez loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Lopez content to stall in guard here. Lopez trying to control but Castle is working from the bottom. Castle wants to stand up but Lopez is controlling him. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lopez is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Max Castle showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Gabriel Lopez's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Lopez shoots in but Castle avoids the takedown attempt easily. Castle turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Castle changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lopez looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Castle decides to stand up, so the ref orders Lopez to his feet. Lopez gets caught flat footed, as Castle shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Castle trying to control the position from guard on top but Lopez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lopez looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Castle is defending well. Lopez quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Castle has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Lopez celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
