The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Hornqvist. No joy for Yrjo on that attempt.
Yrjo fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Yrjo looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Yrjo is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hornqvist is just riding it out for now. Yrjo eventually gives up the hold.

Hornqvist is fighting to break Yrjo's control of his arms but Yrjo is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Yrjo shoots in and bounces Hornqvist off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Yrjo drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Hornqvist manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Yrjo has Hornqvist in his guard.
Hornqvist must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Yrjo bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hornqvist's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Yrjo tries to free his leg and advance position but Hornqvist is retaining full guard.

Yrjo has gone for a leg lock! Hornqvist slips out almost immediately though and dives into Yrjo's guard.

Oh but Yrjo is tightening it up a little... Hornqvist has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Hornqvist reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Hornqvist taps out! nice BJJ there by Yrjo!
