Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Srecko Katanec (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Moe Master (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Master has chosen Burn in my light as his entrance music. Srecko Katanec has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Katanec is looking to clinch.
Katanec throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Katanec shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Master's guard.
Katanec stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Master swivels though and keeps the full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Katanec accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Katanec postures up in Master's guard and throws a big left but Master blocks it.
Katanec has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Katanec not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Katanec would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Master trying to keep a closed guard but Katanec is proving a slippery customer.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Master can do anything to dispel that myth.
Master throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Katanec escapes and throws Master's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Katanec tries to score with some ground and pound. Master controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Katanec creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Master sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Master has his takedown stuffed
so Katanec counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Katanec is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Master looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Katanec passes into half guard.
Katanec thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Master to regain full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Katanec is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Master's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Katanec makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Katanec.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Katanec bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Master's guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Katanec wants to take a breather but Master is having none of it.
Katanec works his foot free and advances to mount.
Katanec pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Katanec has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Master uses from the top position.

Srecko Katanec is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Katanec ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Master moves away.
Master takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Katanec scores with a leg kick.
Katanec pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Katanec tries to land a front kick but Master steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Katanec throws a nice looking combination but Master bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Srecko Katanec overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Katanec is looking to control Master's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Katanec avoid being mounted?
Master really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Katanec. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Katanec is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Master's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Master's back!
