Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vadim Finkle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aslak Mustapaa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Finkle comes into the arena with NWO blaring out of the sound system. Mustapaa has chosen Children of Bodom - In Your Face as his entrance music. Aslak Mustapaa has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Trevor Gratis and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mustapaa misses with an uppercut. Finkle saw that one coming.
Mustapaa gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Finkle to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Finkle looking to sit in guard and control but Mustapaa gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Finkle is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Mustapaa gets to his feet. Finkle looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Finkle shoots in looking for a takedown. Mustapaa tries to sprawl out of it but Finkle keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mustapaa manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Mustapaa connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
It looks like Vadim Finkle has been cut.
Mustapaa cracks Finkle with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Finkle looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Mustapaa finish him?
Finkle is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Finkle closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Finkle lands in his opponent's guard.

Mustapaa is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Finkle is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Mustapaa is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Mustapaa has escaped and now he's on top!
Finkle is working an open guard so Mustapaa takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Finkle closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mustapaa to the mat! Mustapaa manages to get full guard.

Mustapaa wants to get back to his feet but Finkle is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Finkle postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Mustapaa is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Finkle, into his guard.
Mustapaa wants to control from the top but Finkle keeps moving.
Finkle wants to sweep here but Mustapaa controlling him for the moment.
Finkle avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Vadim Finkle's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Finkle keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Mustapaa.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Mustapaa throws the left hand but Finkle avoids the punch easily.

and Finkle counters with a shoot takedown. Mustapaa fights it but they end up in guard.

Aslak Mustapaa dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Finkle rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mustapaa moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Finkle closes the distance and clinches up with Mustapaa, looking for a takedown. Finkle pushes Mustapaa against the cage but Mustapaa circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Mustapaa misses with a straight left.
Finkle shoots in for a takedown but Mustapaa shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Finkle takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Finkle shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Mustapaa looks like he's trying to stand up.
Finkle is working for a kimura but Mustapaa is defending it quite comfortably.

That was a close second round but I would say that Vadim Finkle will probably get the nod.

Nice straight punches there by Mustapaa. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Mustapaa.
Finkle changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mustapaa looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
