Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Katsuo Fujikage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lieutenant Smash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Katsuo Fujikage has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Katsuo Fujikage! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lieutenant Smash! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Smash as Fujikage shoots in. Smash looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! No joy there for Smash, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Fujikage fails to land the takedown. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Fujikage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Katsuo Fujikage. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fujikage closes this distance looking for a takedown but Smash circles away. Smash avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Nice takedown defense from Smash. No joy for Fujikage on that attempt. Fujikage shoots in for a takedown but Smash shows good takedown defense. Smash moves into the clinch successfully.
Fujikage goes for a takedown attempt but Smash pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Katsuo Fujikage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fujikage wants to clinch up but Smash keeps it at a distance. Fujikage clinches but Smash breaks the clinch and Smash holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Smash breaks from the clinch.
Smash has managed to clinch.
Smash tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Smash manages to pull guard.
Smash wants to stand and escape but Fujikage is having none of it. Smash is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Fujikage wants to control from the top but Smash keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fujikage drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Fujikage jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Fujikage pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Smash is keeping the position for now. Fujikage prevents Smash from getting back to his feet. Fujikage thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Fujikage takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Smash scores with a nice strike. Fujikage tries to clinch up. Smash misses with a wild combination.
Smash circles away from the clinch attempt and Smash counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Smash throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Nice takedown defense from Smash. No joy for Fujikage on that attempt. Fujikage moves into the clinch successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fujikage wants a takedown.
Fujikage looking to throw knees to the head but Smash is blocking nicely.
Fujikage lands a left hand that snaps the head of Smash backwards. Smash gets underhooks to prevent Fujikage's takedown attempt.
Smash pulls guard successfully.
Smash can't keep his opponent in guard - Fujikage advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Fujikage works his way into side control. Fujikage working the head and body with strikes. Fujikage advances to full mount. Fujikage seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Smash is holding on tight.
Fujikage looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Fujikage unloads with some shots from mount but Smash bucks and avoids them well.
Smash wants to try and get back to his feet. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Smash can do anything to dispel that myth. Smash is squirming around, avoiding Fujikage's attempts to control the action. Smash prevents Fujikage from taking his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fujikage avoids the attempt from Smash to control. Fujikage tries to control but Smash wriggling away. Fujikage tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Smash is trying to stand up. Smash has given up his back here.
Smash wants to get back to his feet. Fujikage tries to keep control of the position but Smash is staying busy. Smash has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Fujikage sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Smash taps out!
