PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lukasz Czarnecki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorden Ellis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ellis has chosen M.E.T.H.O.D. Man as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lukasz Czarnecki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jorden Ellis!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping leg kick lands for Czarnecki.
Ellis looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
The fight stays on the outside here - Czarnecki looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ellis throws a right hand that Czarnecki ducks under and follows up with a left that Czarnecki also avoids with ease.
Czarnecki throws a quick inside leg kick.

Czarnecki darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Czarnecki thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Czarnecki is trying to control. Ellis wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Czarnecki is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Ellis is defending against the submission attempts here by Czarnecki.
Czarnecki wants to pass the guard but Ellis is defending well.
Czarnecki wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ellis keeps working.

Czarnecki seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Czarnecki working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Ellis bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Czarnecki's guard.

Ellis is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Czarnecki is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Czarnecki has escaped and now he's on top!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Czarnecki closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Ellis to the mat! Ellis manages to get full guard.

Ellis is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Czarnecki asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Horrible takedown by Czarnecki or perhaps it was just good defense by Ellis which made him look bad.

Ellis has hold of one of Czarnecki's legs. Czarnecki is fighting the takedown attempt but Ellis gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Ellis looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Czarnecki with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

I think Ellis has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
