Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rado ADW! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jim Arvanitis! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! ADW shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Arvanitis but Arvanitis pushes him off and we're back to square one. Arvanitis looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Arvanitis displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from ADW. ADW is trying hard to land a takedown here. Arvanitis sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rado ADW. That's going to take a lot out of him. ADW shoots in for a takedown but Arvanitis shows good takedown defense. The fight stays on the outside here - Arvanitis looks like he's thinking about clinching though. ADW lands a nice leg kick that just misses Arvanitis's sensitive parts. ADW tries to clinch there but Arvanitis circles away.

ADW is trying hard to land a takedown here. Arvanitis sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Arvanitis circles away from the clinch attempt.
ADW changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Arvanitis tries to avoid it but ADW manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Arvanitis to the ground. Arvanitis escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. ADW gets a takedown into half guard. ADW wants to free his trapped foot but Arvanitis is holding on for dear life with his legs. Arvanitis keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Arvanitis is not content to let ADW control the position. Arvanitis actively working from the bottom here. Arvanitis looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. ADW wants to stand but Arvanitis has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Arvanitis tries to roll over but ADW keeps him under control. ADW seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. ADW is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Arvanitis is looking to land body kicks. Arvanitis displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from ADW. Arvanitis tries to clinch there but ADW circles away.
Arvanitis looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Arvanitis lands with a nice body kick. Arvanitis has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from ADW finds it's way round the side to connect with Arvanitis's head. Arvanitis shoots for a double leg takedown but ADW sprawls well. He's pushed Arvanitis's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Arvanitis looks to land a body kick but ADW moved away. ADW avoids a kick to the body.
Arvanitis shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Arvanitis is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. ADW can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Arvanitis quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Arvanitis but it's paid off an ADW is forced to tap! Nice work by Arvanitis.
