Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ippo Makunouchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grandparets Son (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makunouchi lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Son backs up against the cage.
Son looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Makunouchi throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Son stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Makunouchi throws a solid leg kick but Son takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Makunouchi.
Makunouchi waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Son. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Son to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
