Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mikio Okita (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Ovechkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ovechkin throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Horrible takedown by Ovechkin or perhaps it was just good defense by Okita which made him look bad.
Ovechkin has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Ovechkin shoots in for a takedown but Okita shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Okita displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ovechkin throws out the jab.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Okita, as that shot connected.

Ovechkin turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Okita off and cradles Ovechkin's limp body as Okita celebrates with his corner.
