The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Daniel Blasius and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schrute is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Reiplinger.
A big left from Schrute misses.
Reiplinger bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Reiplinger misses with a straight left.
Reiplinger takes a jab right on the kisser.
It looks like Rap Reiplinger has been cut.
Reiplinger tries to clinch up but Schrute circles away and keeps his distance.
The fight stays on the outside here - Reiplinger looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Schrute throws a hook but Reiplinger avoids it easily.
Reiplinger is looking to clinch but Schrute is avoiding it.
Schrute just misses with a punch to the body.

Reiplinger closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Reiplinger advances to mount.
Schrute is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

Reiplinger has control of Schrute's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Schrute regains control of the situation pretty easily.
