The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Agbayani looks to land a combination but Machine avoids it well.
Agbayani fails with an attempt to clinch.
Daniel Machine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Agbayani tries to close the distance and clinch up but Machine swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Machine throws a combination that misses
and Agbayani counters with a stiff right hand.

Agbayani jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Machine walks away with a smile on his face. Agbayani gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Agbayani escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Machine gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Machine avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Machine looking to sit in guard and control but Agbayani gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Agbayani would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Machine manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Machine lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Agbayani hang on?
Agbayani tries to hold on but Machine postures up.
Agbayani is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Machine looking to control but Agbayani is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Machine is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Machine closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Agbayani is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Machine pulls his head out easily.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Machine is trying to control the action in half guard but Agbayani is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Machine got a little sloppy there for a moment and Agbayani has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Machine has managed to get both his arms back between Agbayani's legs - danger averted.

Agbayani working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Machine doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Machine manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Machine is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Despite being in the dominant position, Daniel Machine just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Machine keeps the fight on the outside.
Agbayani scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Agbayani darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Machine drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Machine stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Agbayani instigates a clinch.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Agbayani jumps guard but Machine stands there with Agbayani around his waist. Agbayani gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Machine feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Daniel Machine showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Agbayani looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Machine passes into half guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Machine slips a nice elbow through Agbayani's hands, connecting with Agbayani's forehead.
Machine content to control rather than advance.
Let's hope that Machine has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Well Machine has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
