Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jin Lieu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robertson Zilvia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lieu comes to the cage accompanied by "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC. Zilvia has chosen Snow ( Hey oh ) as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zilvia tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lieu paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Zilvia shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lieu as he jumps to the side.
Lieu tries to bum rush Zilvia with a series of wild strikes but Zilvia uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Zilvia.
A head kick misses from Lieu.
Zilvia fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lieu avoids it really well and circles away.
Jin Lieu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robertson Zilvia.
Zilvia fails to land the takedown.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Zilvia avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lieu lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Zilvia tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lieu sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Zilvia somewhat.
Robertson Zilvia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Zilvia shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lieu defends it nicely.
Lieu throws a hook but Zilvia blocks it.
Lieu stuffs the takedown attempt from Zilvia. Zilvia gets slowly back to his feet.
Horrible takedown by Zilvia or perhaps it was just good defense by Lieu which made him look bad.

Zilvia thows a body kick. Lieu tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Zilvia shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lieu as he jumps to the side.
Lieu lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Robertson Zilvia has been cut.
Lieu connects with a stiff jab that staggers Zilvia - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
