Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Xander Nimorov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yashar mirishandi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nimorov comes to the cage accompanied by Lose Yourself - Eminem. Yashar mirishandi told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Sam Margolis and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
mirishandi misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Nimorov throws a combination but it was largely blocked by mirishandi.
Nimorov tries to bum rush mirishandi with a series of wild strikes but mirishandi uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Good exchange - Nimorov coming out on top.
Nimorov lands a jab to mirishandi's midsection.
Nimorov misses with an uppercut.
Nimorov throws a left and a right that both miss
and mirishandi counters with a series of strikes. Nimorov will be more careful next time no doubt.
mirishandi slips a jab and a cross from Nimorov.
Nimorov falls off balance throwing a combination
and mirishandi counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Nimorov is rocked!
mirishandi swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Nimorov counters with a nice uppercut.
Nimorov throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
letting mirishandi counter with a right hand.
Oh Nimorov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
mirishandi takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Nimorov missing with a left hand there. mirishandi was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Nimorov throws a right and a left that mirishandi avoids nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nimorov misses with a two punch combination.
mirishandi cracks Nimorov on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Nimorov falls backwards against the cage. mirishandi follows up with more strikes that drop Nimorov to his knees. mirishandi keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Nimorov! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yashar mirishandi!
