Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dan Monroe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DJ Lance Rock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Monroe comes to the cage accompanied by Bad boy 4 Life. Rock has chosen Yo Gabba Gabba Theme Song as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Aafke Stam and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Monroe as Rock shoots in.
Rock fails with a takedown attempt.
Monroe lands a body shot.
Rock fails with the takedown.
Dan Monroe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of DJ Lance Rock.
Rock looks gassed!
Monroe throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Monroe lands with a straight right. Rock didn't see that one coming.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rock shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Monroe sprawls well. Monroe wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rock gets slowly back to his feet.
Monroe jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Monroe misses with a double jab.
Rock takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Rock bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Monroe misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rock.

Rock is trying desperately to land a takedown but Monroe is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Rock.
Rock looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Monroe is fending him off so far but Rock persists. Nope, Monroe circles away and we're back to standing.
Dan Monroe is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A solid leg kick lands there for Monroe.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Monroe closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Rock! Monroe dives in looking to finish! Rock is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dan Monroe!
