Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ignatius Reilly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ignatius Reilly has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ignatius Reilly! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rick James! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reilly wants to clinch up but James keeps it at a distance. Reilly avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
James misses with a low kick.
James dives in and grabs Reilly's left leg, looking for a takedown. Reilly pushes down on James's head and hops out. Reilly slips a jab and a cross from James.
Reilly with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Reilly looks to throw the jab but James is out of range. James scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Reilly keeping control of the position. Reilly wants to get back to full guard. Reilly is positioning himself well to prevent James advancing to mount. James moves nicely into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reilly is trying to get back to half guard. Reilly is not in a great position here, taking some shots. James tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Reilly is trying to get back to half guard. James throws an elbow but Reilly slips to the side and avoids it well. James is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Reilly knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. James trying to control the action but Reilly is working from the bottom. James throws an elbow but Reilly slips to the side and avoids it well.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. James tries for a takedown but Reilly sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Reilly misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. James thows a body shot but no joy. Reilly lands a big right hand that sends James crashing to the mat! Reilly stays standing though and waves James back to his feet!
It looks like Rick James has been cut. Good leg kick by Reilly there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
James looks gassed! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The fight stays on the outside here - Reilly looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Reilly lands with a kick to the ribs.
A chopping leg kick lands by Reilly. Reilly fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with James, pushing him back against the cage. Reilly lands an elbow that stopped James in his tracks for a moment. Reilly gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
James is rocked! James is pressed against the cage. Reilly pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts James! Two more big strikes from Reilly and James crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Ignatius Reilly!
