Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Grizzly Copenhagen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brent Huthe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Copenhagen comes to the cage accompanied by Faint by Linkin Park. Huthe is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Five Finger Death Punch - Bad Company. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Grizzly Copenhagen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Brent Huthe! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Wagner Zegers and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Copenhagen has taken the fight to the clinch.
Copenhagen gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Copenhagen landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Copenhagen lands strikes from half guard. Copenhagen wants to take a breather but Huthe is having none of it. Copenhagen lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Copenhagen stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Huthe leaves Copenhagen with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Copenhagen moves in looking to clinch but Huthe pushes him off. Huthe shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Copenhagen manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Copenhagen looking for a guillotine here but Huthe defends easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Copenhagen looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Huthe trying to control but Copenhagen is working from the bottom. Copenhagen controlling Huthe's posture. Huthe throws a strike but Copenhagen rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Copenhagen wants to pass the guard but Huthe is keeping the position. Huthe wriggles free and stands up. Copenhagen tries to clinch but Huthe moves out of range. Copenhagen takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Copenhagen on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Huthe drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Huthe wants to control but Copenhagen is keeping him busy. Copenhagen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Huthe lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Copenhagen down.
A lull in the action here as Huthe stalls from top position. Copenhagen wants to get back to his feet. Huthe working the strikes but Copenhagen uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Copenhagen keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Copenhagen wants to control but Huthe is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Huthe is trying to control. Copenhagen wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Huthe wants to pass the guard but Copenhagen is defending well. Copenhagen is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Huthe jumps into side control! Huthe misses with the ground and pound. Copenhagen is looking to reverse the position. Copenhagen is working hard here to advance position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Huthe tries to score a power double leg takedown but Copenhagen sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Huthe somewhat. Copenhagen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Huthe's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Copenhagen shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Copenhagen showed some decent athleticism there. Copenhagen thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Copenhagen is looking to take a break and control but Huthe is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Huthe pushes Copenhagen off and gets back to his feet. Huthe drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Huthe looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Copenhagen looks to score some points with some ground and pound. That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Huthe stuffs the takedown attempt from Copenhagen. Copenhagen gets slowly back to his feet. Huthe bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Copenhagen ducks right into an uppercut from Huthe. Huthe comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Huthe throws a jab when Copenhagen was well out of range. Copenhagen tries to clinch but Huthe moves out of range. Huthe is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Copenhagen rather than just go for the knockout. Huthe pulls out of a head kick attempt.
The fight stays on the outside here - Copenhagen looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Huthe shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Huthe has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Copenhagen's face.

Brent Huthe showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Grizzly Copenhagen's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Copenhagen shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Huthe napping and manages to drive through into side control! Huthe is trying to improve his position. Huthe manages to work his way to half guard, despite Copenhagen's best efforts. Copenhagen seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Huthe does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Copenhagen not doing much here.

Copenhagen closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Huthe did well to prevent Copenhagen getting side control. Copenhagen has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Copenhagen lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Copenhagen lands with some strikes. Copenhagen lands a big shot there that rocks Huthe but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Copenhagen has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Huthe is proving hard to escape from. Grizzly Copenhagen has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Copenhagen throwing strikes but missing. Copenhagen is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Huthe is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Huthe has escaped and now he's on top! Copenhagen looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Huthe passes into half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Grizzly Copenhagen showed his dominance in that final round. I think Huthe has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
