Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alex Vargas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesus Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vargas comes to the cage accompanied by Alright by Pitbull. Sanchez comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Cypress Hill - Tequila Sunrise kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alex Vargas! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jesus Sanchez! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Daniel Blasius and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vargas throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Sanchez connects with a good right hand that stumbles Vargas. Vargas circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Sanchez misses with a hook. Sanchez ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Vargas moves away. Sanchez scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Sanchez landing a few strikes. Vargas is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Sanchez tries to pass the half guard into mount. Vargas knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Sanchez wants to lay and pray for a moment but Vargas keeps working. Sanchez wants to pass the guard but Vargas is defending well. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. A decent looking cross lands there for Vargas. Sanchez tries a head kick but it misses.

Vargas scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Sanchez looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. A jab lands there for Sanchez. Vargas takes a body punch but keeps moving. Sanchez drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Vargas is looking to regain half guard here but Sanchez keeps moving and retains side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

and Sanchez takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Vargas blocks a jab. Sanchez misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. A head kick misses from Sanchez. Sanchez fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Alex Vargas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jesus Sanchez. Sanchez takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. No luck for Sanchez with that takedown attempt. Sanchez dodges the punch combination from Vargas.

Vargas cracks Sanchez with an open hand slap. This has been an exciting period of action! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Vargas takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Vargas is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Vargas takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Sanchez on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. A punch combination from Vargas misses. Alex Vargas is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Vargas throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Sanchez missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Vargas is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Sanchez pulls his head out easily.
