Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Diego Guerra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlson Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Guerra's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The Sound Of Thruth - As I Lay Dying. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Diego Guerra! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Carlson Gracie! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Seu Braga and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Guerra tries to close the distance and clinch but Gracie swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Gracie shoots in for a takedown but Guerra shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Guerra fails with the takedown and Gracie counters with a shoot takedown. Guerra fights it but they end up in guard. Guerra keeping full guard, as Gracie tries to pass. Gracie passes easily into side control. Nice work. Gracie wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Guerra, who protects the arm well. Guerra is not content to let Gracie control the position. Gracie swings around for an armbar but Guerra sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Gracie's guard. Guerra drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Gracie dives on top into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie wants to pass the guard but Guerra is keeping the position. Gracie is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Gracie got a little sloppy there for a moment and Guerra has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gracie has managed to get both his arms back between Guerra's legs - danger averted. Guerra looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Gracie pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Guerra is keeping the position for now. Gracie advances position into side control! Gracie prevents Guerra from escaping the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Guerra is not content to let Gracie control the position.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Gracie tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Guerra wants to get back to his feet. Gracie trying to control the action but Guerra is working from the bottom. Gracie is trying to get an arm triangle but Guerra is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie swings around for an armbar but Guerra sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Gracie's guard. Guerra postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Gracie is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Guerra, into his guard. Gracie stands and throws Guerra's legs to the side, diving into side control. Guerra is breathing heavily. Gracie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Guerra keeps working. Gracie wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Guerra, who protects the arm well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gracie looking to control but instead Guerra has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. Guerra is trying to stand back up but Gracie is controlling him
Guerra is staying active underneath Gracie, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Gracie is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Guerra squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Gracie is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Guerra is surviving well by controlling Gracie's body position as best he can. Gracie won't let Guerra get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carlson Gracie dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Guerra darts in trying to clinch and Gracie counters with a nice double leg into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gracie passes the guard and advances to mount! Gracie won't let Guerra get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Gracie tries to control but Guerra wriggling away. Carlson Gracie has got the better of the ground game so far. Guerra is looking to get to half guard. Gracie moves to the back position. Gracie is looking to control Guerra but Guerra is wriggling around and keeping busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie has got one arm under Guerra's chin. This could be trouble... Guerra trying to control the other hand but Gracie gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Guerra has tapped out! The fight is over!
