Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Da Slayer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronnie Echberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ronnie Echberg has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Da Slayer's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Da Slayer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ronnie Echberg!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slayer shoots in and drives through. Echberg sprawls well.
The crowd cheers as Slayer lands an impressive looking overhand right. Echberg doesn't seem phased though.
Echberg doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Slayer counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Slayer.
Echberg has had enough of the clinch but Slayer keeps him there for the moment.
Slayer is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Echberg tries to pull guard but Slayer holds him up against the cage and eventually Echberg drops back down to his feet.
Echberg wants to stall.
Slayer fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Slayer breaks from the clinch.
Echberg looks for a takedown but Slayer sprawls well.
Da Slayer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ronnie Echberg.

Slayer throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Echberg's waist but Echberg gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Slayer off to one side.

and Echberg counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Echberg.
Echberg not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Echberg drops back looking for a leg! Slayer is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Slayer manages to kick Echberg off! Echberg jumps back into Slayer's guard.
Slayer wants to stand up but Echberg is controlling him.

Echberg won't allow Slayer to sweep him here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Echberg passes Slayer's left leg - he's now in half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Echberg connects with a nice short shot to Slayer's temple.

Echberg is keen to just control but Slayer is a slippery customer.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
It looks like Echberg is going to stand back up.

Echberg manages to capitalize on a mistake by Slayer to take his back!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
You can see the frustration on Slayer's face� He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Echberg working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Echberg really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Slayer.
Echberg controlling well, preventing Slayer from escaping the position.

Slayer tries to roll but Echberg sticks to his back.
Echberg is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Echberg gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Echberg gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Echberg apologises and we restart here on the feet.

so Echberg counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Echberg sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Slayer's guard.

Echberg wants to free his trapped foot but Slayer is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Slayer wants to get back to full guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Slayer on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Slayer tries to get out of the position.

Slayer seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Echberg does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Echberg tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Echberg has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
