Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wyatt Law (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Austin Vanquisher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Law's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, "A Country Boy Can Survive" by Hank Williams Jr.. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Austin Vanquisher!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vanquisher avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Law fails with a takedown attempt.
Vanquisher is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Law throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Vanquisher's waist but Vanquisher gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Law off to one side.
Law shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wyatt Law. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Law decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Vanquisher looks like he's trying to stand up.
Law not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Vanquisher pushes Law off looking to stand but Law dives back in and keeps control.
Law looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Vanquisher really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Law. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Vanquisher is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Vanquisher is pushing down on Law's leg trying to pass to half guard. Law is fighting to maintain full guard but Vanquisher has managed to sneak the leg through.
Vanquisher thows a huge punch but Law dodges it nicely.

Vanquisher seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Law wants to clinch up but Vanquisher keeps it at a distance.
Vanquisher darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Law makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Law.
Law pushes Vanquisher off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Law shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Vanquisher manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Law is nestled in close to Vanquisher, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Law is keen to just control but Vanquisher is a slippery customer.
Law stops Vanquisher from getting back to his feet.
Law is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Law is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Law lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Law tries for a takedown but Vanquisher circles away easily
and Vanquisher counters with a shoot takedown. Law fights it but they end up in guard.
Vanquisheris looking to pass into half guard but Law pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Law is in guard.

Law drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Law seems to have locked his on tight now - Vanquisher screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Law, as he picks up the win!
