Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Emong Cordero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Saburo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Emong Cordero! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Adam Saburo! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Sano and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cordero throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Cordero lands a two punch combo.

Cordero throws a head kick that misses. Saburo shoots for a double leg takedown but Cordero sprawls well. He's pushed Saburo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Cordero lands a left and a right that sends Saburo crashing to the canvas! Cordero dives into mount looking to finish!
Saburo is rocked! Saburo looks gassed! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Saburo tries to lock up and control but Cordero gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Saburo is still in real trouble! Can Cordero finish him? Saburo seems to have recovered his senses. Cordero sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Cordero stands up from mount. Strange move.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cordero moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Cordero throws a sloppy head kick and Saburo counters with a body kick that stops Cordero in his tracks momentarily. Cordero with a nice cross. Saburo needs to keep his hands up - Cordero had a free shot at his head there.
That has opened up Adam Saburo's cut even more. Saburo avoids the head kick by Cordero.

He's persisting with it as Cordero sprawls well. Cordero wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Saburo gets slowly back to his feet. Saburo throws a head kick that misses. Cordero lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Saburo throws a right hand that Cordero ducks under and follows up with a left that Cordero also avoids with ease. Saburo fails with an attempt to clinch.
Emong Cordero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cordero avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

so Saburo counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Saburo throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Cordero works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Saburo trying to control but Cordero is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cordero wants to stand but Saburo is controlling the position. Saburo drops back looking for a leg! Cordero is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cordero manages to kick Saburo off! Saburo jumps back into Cordero's guard. Saburo wants to stand but Cordero is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Saburo trying to control the position from guard on top but Cordero is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Emong Cordero dominated that round. The cut man is working on Adam Saburo's cut. That's time! Cordero's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Saburo takes a kick to the side of the head. Cordero tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Cordero circles away from the clinch attempt.

Cordero lands with a slapping head kick. Saburo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cordero.
Cordero throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Saburo. Saburo shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Saburo was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Saburo working the ground and pound effectively.
Cordero knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Saburo on the ground. Saburo scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Saburo trying to control but he's not successful this time. Saburo putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Saburo fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Saburo throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Cordero because Saburo loaded up on that one. Saburo wants to control the pace but Cordero is squirming around nicely. Saburo is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Cordero has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Cordero! Cordero avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Saburo is on top in guard.

He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Saburo trying to control but Cordero is working from the bottom. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cordero is looking to stand up but Saburo isn't so interested in that idea. Saburo working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Saburo trying to control but Cordero is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Saburo shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Saburo tries to control but Cordero wriggling away.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Saburo wants to control the pace but Cordero is squirming around nicely. Saburo might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Cordero kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Saburo sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
And that's the end of the fight! Adam Saburo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Saburo has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
