Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between rio hero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cole Neguinho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
hero looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

hero thows a huge punch but Neguinho dodges it nicely.

hero changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Neguinho looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

hero is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Neguinho is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
hero goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Neguinho has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for hero but great work by Neguinho.

Neguinho sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
