Putin comes into the arena with ... blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Gyros's choice of entrance music: Greek Gyros. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking body kick lands there for Putin.
Putin looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Putin misses with a wild combination.
Gyros tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Putin swivels and escapes.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Putin.
Gyros looks gassed!
Putin drops Gyros with a beautiful combination! Gyros stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Putin is looking for the KO!
It looks like Greek Gyros has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Putin connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Gyros tumbling to the canvas! Putin pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Gyros was done - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin!
