The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Paulo Santos and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCall shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Murderer is trying to defend but McCall finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
McCall is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
McCall postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Murderer to stand up.
Murderer throws out a leg kick but McCall moves out of range and Murderer only half commits.
McCall avoids the head kick by Murderer.
McCall lands a big head kick that sends Murderer tumbling to the mat! McCall takes a step backwards and waves Murderer back to his feet - he wants the finish!

McCall jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Murderer walks away with a smile on his face. McCall gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

McCall has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Murderer uses from the top position.
