Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jerry Cho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peter Jackson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Cho napping and manages to drive through into side control! Cho is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Cho prevents Jackson from improving position. Jackson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Cho is looking to reverse the position. Jackson is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Cho has escaped the position, nice work there. Cho tries to escape but Jackson is in control.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Jackson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jackson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
No joy there for Jackson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jackson thows a body shot but no joy. Jackson lands a head kick. Cho smiles back at him and beckons him forward. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Jackson checks a leg kick. A head kick misses from Jackson. Cho goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Jackson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jackson fails to land the takedown. Cho cracks Jackson with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Nice body punch from Jackson.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson tries to move into range but Cho moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Cho avoids the head kick by Jackson.
Jackson tries to bum rush Cho with a series of wild strikes but Cho uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Cho misses with a double jab.
Cho lands with a hook. Jackson tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Jackson tries a head kick but it misses.
Cho lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Nice uppercut lands for Cho. That snapped Jackson's head back.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cho connects with a solid leg kick. Cho tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jackson was well out of range. Poor timing from Cho. Jackson avoids a punch combination nicely.
Cho throws out a loose jab but Jackson uses good head movement to avoid it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Some wild striking there from Cho.
Jackson fails to land with a series of punches.
Cho lands a jab to the nose. Cho lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Jackson throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Jackson scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Jackson is trying to control. Cho wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Cho knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jackson on the ground. Jackson looks gassed! The fighters are battling for position here. Cho manages to regain full guard. Nice work. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cho wants to sweep but no luck. Jackson trying to control but Cho is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cho is adopting a defensive guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jackson wants to stand but Cho is controlling his posture from full guard. Cho is looking to stand up but Jackson isn't so interested in that idea. Jackson trying to control but Cho is working from the bottom. Cho looking for a sweep. Not yet Cho, not yet.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Cho throws a sloppy head kick and Jackson counters with a good, hard body kick but Cho shrugs it off. Cho avoids a kick to the body.
Cho comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jerry Cho dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Cho throws a series of punches but Jackson moves out of range. Jackson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Cho as he avoids it easily. Jackson throws a head kick that misses and Cho counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Cho lunges at Jackson with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Jackson's hand. A punch combination from Jackson misses. Jackson drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Cho lands a right hook to the body.
Cho scores with a jab. Jackson is breathing heavily. Cho lands with a big left! Jackson is wobbled badly! Cho comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Jackson to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jerry Cho!
