Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fabio Iago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matthew Langford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Iago comes to the cage accompanied by One More Time. Langford has chosen Psycho as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Mauricio Rocha and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Iago tries to score a power double leg takedown but Langford sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Iago somewhat.
Langford misses with a takedown
and Iago counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Langford's guard now.
Langford working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Iago doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Iago manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Iago makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Langford escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Iago gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Langford is looking for a triangle but Iago pushes his legs off easily.

Iago has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Iago got a little sloppy there for a moment and Langford has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Iago has managed to get both his arms back between Langford's legs - danger averted.
