Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between r r (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pound Mcgee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mcgee is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Scorpions - Rock You Like A Hurricane. Pound Mcgee has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pound Mcgee!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
r looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
r throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mcgee's waist but Mcgee gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing r off to one side.

r closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
r is looking to advance position but Mcgee won't allow it.
Mcgee pushes r off looking to stand but r dives back in and keeps control.
Mcgee keeping hold of r's head, controlling as best he can.

r is looking for a kimura but Mcgee is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for r to get the leverage.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

r is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Mcgee wants to get back to his feet.

r wants to work for an arm triangle but Mcgee is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

r is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Mcgee is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of r's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take r's back!

r manages to reverse the position and now he's in Mcgee's guard. Nice work there by r.
r wants to pass the guard but Mcgee is keeping the position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Mcgee swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
r r seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mcgee looks to land a combination but r avoids it well.

r shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than r was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

r looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Mcgee is trying desperately to improve position.
Mcgee is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Mcgee manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Mcgee keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Mcgee wants to control but r is keeping busy and won't allow it.

r looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Mcgee is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Mcgee is looking to control r's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Mcgee avoid being mounted?

r is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Mcgee sees it coming and defends easily.
Mcgee is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of r's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take r's back!

That was a close round but I would say that r r will probably get the nod.

Mcgee turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
r dives in and grabs Mcgee's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mcgee pushes down on r's head and hops out.
Mcgee throws a right and a left that both miss.

Mcgee works r's body with a nice hook.
Mcgee tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and r is able to avoid easily.
Mcgee scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!


It looks like r r has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mcgee lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Mcgee throws an overhand right that has r reeling! Mcgee follows up with more punches and r is out cold! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Pound Mcgee!
