Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Ellis! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ellis uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Klaspinowski. Ellis's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Ellis duly obliges. Klaspinowski connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Ellis avoids the body shot from Klaspinowski.
Klaspinowski slaps away a takedown attempt from Ellis, before circling back to the center of the mat. Ellis misses with a two punch combination.
Klaspinowski takes a swing at Ellis's ribcage but misses. Ellis paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Ellis cracks Klaspinowski with a good jab. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ellis with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Ellis is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Klaspinowski scores with a couple of nice shots. Klaspinowski is trying to control. Ellis wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ellis on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Ellis is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Klaspinowski drops an elbow to the side of Ellis's head. Klaspinowski working the head and body with strikes. Klaspinowski takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Klaspinowski looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Klaspinowski is trying to control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. BOOM! Klaspinowski connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Nope, Klaspinowski circles away and we're back to standing. Ellis lands a nice shot to the body.

Klaspinowski is nestled in close to Ellis, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Klaspinowski is looking to take a break and control but Ellis is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Klaspinowski working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Klaspinowski content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Ellis is staying active underneath Klaspinowski, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
