Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jew Jitsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Nascimento (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Nascimento's choice of entrance music: Paranaue - Parana. Jew Jitsu has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Summer Carpenter and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nascimento tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Nascimento misses with a jab, cross combination.
Jitsu darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Nascimento controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.

It looks like Andre Nascimento has been cut.

Jitsu postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Nascimento is trying to stick to Jitsu's back but Jitsu is turning into Nascimento. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Nascimento's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Jitsu.

Nascimento is looking to stand up but Jitsu isn't so interested in that idea.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Jitsu throws a chopping leg kick but Nascimento manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Nascimento misses with a takedown attempt - Jitsu sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Jitsu drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Nascimento dives on top into guard.

Jitsu has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Nascimento uses from the top position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

and Jitsu counters with a shoot takedown. Nascimento fights it but they end up in guard.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Nascimento lands with a kick to the temple. Jitsu shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Nascimento.
Andre Nascimento is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Nascimento goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Jitsu moves out of range of the body kick.

Jitsu escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Nascimento gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Jitsu has an active guard here but Nascimento has managed to pass into half guard.
Jitsu has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Nascimento escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Nascimento!

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Nascimento has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Jitsu closes the distance and clinches up with Nascimento, looking for a takedown. Jitsu pushes Nascimento against the cage but Nascimento circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Nascimento lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Jitsu backs up against the cage.
Nascimento moves in looking to clinch but Jitsu pushes him off.
A nice leg kick lands there from Nascimento.
Nascimento throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Jitsu's head.
Nascimento scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Nascimento tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jitsu swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Nascimento seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Nascimento seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jitsu does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nascimento is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Jitsu is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Nascimento's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Nascimento's back!
