Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kfier Asher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kris Marsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Kris Marsh was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kris Marsh! The judges for this bout are , and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marsh looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Asher gets back to full guard.
Asher looking to hit a scissor sweep but Marsh is one step ahead there. Asher on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Asher tries to get out of the position. Marsh in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Marsh thows a big elbow that misses. Marsh slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Marsh misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Marsh blocks the strikes from Asher.
Asher is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Marsh off and has taken his back! Asher has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Marsh's body.
Marsh looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Asher has the hooks in. Marsh is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
That's one minute gone in the round. Asher lands strikes to the head. Marsh rolls, trying to escape but Asher keeps control of the position.
Asher misses with punches from the back. Marsh trying to control the hands but Asher won't let him. Asher struggling to land strikes to the head as Marsh covers up. Marsh tries to break free.
Asher wants to control but Marsh is keeping busy. Asher misses with an elbow to the head. Marsh staying busy and making it hard for Asher to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Marsh trying to control the hands but Asher breaks the grip. Even with his hooks in, Asher manages to miss with strikes from the back. Asher connects with a big shot to the side of Marsh's head.
Marsh breaks Asher's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Asher keeping moving, preventing Marsh from controlling successfully. Marsh stopping the sweep attempt from Asher. Marsh looking to pass the guard. Marsh trying to control but Asher is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Marsh is stalling in the full guard. Marsh trying to control but Asher is working from the bottom.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Asher has his takedown stuffed and Marsh counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Asher is breathing heavily. Asher misses with a takedown and Marsh counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Marsh is trying to control. Asher wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Asher trying to control but Marsh postures up.
Marsh is looking to take a break and control but Asher is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Marsh is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Marsh is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Asher is in real trouble.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Marsh has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Asher has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Marsh is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Asher is tapping out! This one is all over!
