Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Argo Gulskii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boris Ivanof (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Argo Gulskii! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Boris Ivanof! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Sergei Dronov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ivanof fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gulskii manages to avoid it. Ivanof is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Ivanof looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Ivanof lets loose with a powerful body kick. Gulskii will feel that in the morning. Ivanof tries to clinch up. Gulskii rushes Ivanof and presses him up against the cage. Gulskii turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Gulskii manages to end up in side control. Ivanof seems a little lost for a moment, as Gulskii dominates the positioning. Gulskii tries to move to mount but Ivanof blocks the move with his legs. Gulskii controls the position from side control. Gulskii looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Ivanof is being controlled here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ivanof is trying to improve his position. Gulskii is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Gulskii advances to mount. Gulskii controlling the position easily from mount. Gulskii wants to finish this one by submission but Ivanof is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Gulskii.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Gulskii sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Gulskii has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Gulskii seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Ivanof for as long as he can get away with.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Argo Gulskii just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Gulskii shoots in and bounces Ivanof off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Ivanof being controlled here, momentarily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ivanof trying to control the position.
Gulskii advances to half guard. Gulskii trying to control the pace. Gulskii works his way into full mount! Gulskii punishing his opponent with strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gulskii looking to control and managing it successfully. Gulskii stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Gulskii drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gulskii controlling from side mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Argo Gulskii dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Gulskii shoots in and bounces Ivanof off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Gulskii controls from within his opponent's guard. Gulskii advances to half guard. Gulskii sitting and controlling from the half guard. Ivanof is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Argo Gulskii just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Gulskii closes the distance and clinches. Gulskii escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Gulskii scores with a takedown into Ivanof's guard. Gulskii passes Ivanof's left leg - he's now in half guard. Gulskii seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gulskii works his way into side control. Gulskii content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Gulskii tries to move into full mount but can't pass Ivanof's legs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gulskii working the body and head with strikes. Gulskii stands up. Gulskii shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ivanof's guard. Gulskii seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gulskii's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Ivanof wants to reverse the position here. Gulskii has hold of a leg though and he's dropped back looking for a kneebar! The fighters roll across the mat but Ivanof is forced to tap! Ivanof looks devastated but at least his leg points in the right direction.
