The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch lands to the side of Bykov 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Bykov tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Bykov tries to clinch up.
Bykov ducks under a wild hook from Mailov.
Bykov shoots in but no luck this time.
Mailov wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Mailov throws a low kick but it's checked well by Bykov.
Bykov lands a left and a right that send Mailov crashing to the mat, dazed. Bykov thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Maxim Mailov has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bykov fails with a takedown attempt.
Mailov lands with a hook. Bykov tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Bykov shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mailov sprawls well. Mailov wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bykov gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alexey Bykov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mailov lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Bykov falls backwards - clearly groggy! Mailov dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
