Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping leg kick lands for Silva.
Lockhart darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Silva pushes Lockhart off looking to stand but Lockhart dives back in and keeps control.
Silva pushes Lockhart off and gets back to his feet.
Silva shoots and misses
and Lockhart counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Silva!
Silva wants to hold on but Lockhart pushes him away.
Lockhart trying to control but Silva is having none of it.

Silva has one foot on Lockhart's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Lockhart tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Silva paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Silva shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Lockhart counters with a shoot takedown. Silva fights it but they end up in guard.
Silva is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Lockhart postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Lockhart wants to get up but he can't break Silva's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Lockhart really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Lockhart stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Silva swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Silva wants to get back to his feet but Lockhart is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
