The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Wagner Zegers and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mousasi misses with a head kick.

Yvel scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
It looks like Gegard Mousasi has been cut.

Yvel drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Yvel shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Yvel was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Mousasi is desperately trying to improve his position but Yvel has a good base and remains in mount.

Yvel lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

The cut man is working on Gegard Mousasi 's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Mousasi throws a head kick that Yvel semi-blocks.

and Mousasi takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Yvel clinches up with Mousasi and pushes him back against the cage.
Mousasi drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Mousasi wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Mousasi tries to score a body lock takedown but Yvel shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Gilbert Yvel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gegard Mousasi .
Yvel ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Yvel no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Yvel has Mousasi pulled in close to control his posture.
Yvel is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Mousasi is controlling him.
Yvel looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mousasi is one step ahead there.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Yvel is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Mousasi dives into side control.
Mousasi wants to stand but Yvel has his arm trapped.
Yvel knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mousasi on the ground.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Mousasi has an Americana. Yvel didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Mousasi is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Mousasi hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
