Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Master K (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Daley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Master K!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Paul Daley!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Wagner Zegers and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
K moves in looking to clinch but Daley pushes him off.
K shoots in for a takedown but Daley shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Daley stuffs the takedown.

Daley clinches up against the cage.

Daley manages to pull guard.
Daley is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst K is controlling him.
Daley wants to sweep but no luck.
K pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Daley is keeping the position for now.
K thows a big elbow that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Daley has his hands on K's head, controlling the position.

K looking to pass the guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as K accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Daley has K up against the cage in a clinch.
K is trying to break free.
K goes for a takedown in the clinch but Daley prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Master K. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Daley has dropped down and is working for a takedown. K is trying to keep an underhook but Daley manages to get the takedown into half guard.
K trying to control here.

Daley trying to control the action but K is working from the bottom.
K is trying to stand up here but Daley is controlling him well.
Daley is trying to control. K wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Daley tries to pass the half guard into mount. K knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
K flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Daley frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
K keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Daley trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Daley postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. K looks a forlorn figure.
Daley lands a nice shot to the head.
Daley throws some wild stikes that K manages to avoid easily.
K is squirming around, avoiding Daley's attempts to control the action.
K tries to reverse the position but Daley maintains control.
K is breathing heavily.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
K is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
K tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Daley landing strikes from the mount and K is in trouble!
Daley scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Daley looking for a guillotine from mount but K is having none of it.
K is trying desperately to improve position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Daley lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Paul Daley dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


K avoids the head kick by Daley.
K tries to clinch

and Daley counters by moving into the clinch.
Daley creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Daley manages to break the clinch.

Daley gets in close and instigates a clinch.
K wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Daley has him pressed against the cage.

Daley drags the fight down to the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Daley wants to get back to his feet but K is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
K trying to control but Daley is working from the bottom.
Daley is breathing heavily.

Daley keeping full guard, as K tries to pass.

K decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Daley, up you get!
Daley shoots in for a takedown but K shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
K tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Daley holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Daley throws an elbow that misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Daley gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Daley trying to control but K is working from the bottom.
K is looking to stand up but Daley isn't so interested in that idea.
K not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Daley trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Daley stopping the sweep attempt from K.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Daley wants to control from the top but K keeps moving.

K pushes Daley off and gets back to his feet.
Daley throws a nice head kick!
K throws a left and a right that both miss

and Daley counters by moving into the clinch.

Daley pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
K shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Daley counters with a takedown into side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Daley trying to control the action but K is working from the bottom.

Daley stands up and beckons K to his feet.
K shoots in for a double leg but Daley sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Daley has closed the distance and engaged K in a clinch.
Daley misses with a knee to the head.
K misses with a knee strike.

Daley's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Paul Daley showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!


Daley keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Daley lands a head kick. K smiles back at him and beckons him forward.


It looks like Master K has been cut.

Daley pushes K up against the cage in a clinch.
K tries to score a body lock takedown but Daley shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

K pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Daley scores a takedown into full mount!
K tries to hold on but Daley pushes him away.

Daley has hold of K's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and K manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Daley avoids the attempt from K to control.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Daley looking to control and managing it successfully.
K wants to control but Daley is having none of it.
Daley is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Daley trying to control but K is having none of it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Daley looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
K wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Daley.

Daley goes for an armbar but K turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from K.
Daley trying to keep a closed guard but K is proving a slippery customer.

K wants to control from the top but Daley keeps moving.

K stands up and waves to Daley to follow him.
K throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
An inside leg kick lands from K.
Daley fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Daley closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
K tries to get to full guard but Daley has control of the leg.
K looks like he's trying to stand up.
Ground and pound from Daley.
Daley working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Daley is just content to waste time from the top position. K takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Paul Daley comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Daley has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
