Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jack Diamond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ringond Silver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jack Diamond could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ringond Silver's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ringond Silver! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Damien Edna and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silver shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Silver was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Silver has control of Diamond's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Diamond regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Silver is standing up, even though he is in mount. Diamond is breathing heavily. Diamond tests Silver's chin there with a solid looking shot. Diamond throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Silver. Diamond pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Silver shoots in but no luck this time. Silver shoots in for a takedown but Diamond shows good takedown defense. Jack Diamond is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Silver feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Diamond keeping moving, preventing Silver from controlling successfully. Silver tries to free his leg and advance position but Diamond is retaining full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Silver passes easily into side control. Nice work.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Silver has hold of Diamond's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Diamond manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Silver closes the distance and clinches up with Diamond, looking for a takedown. Silver pushes Diamond against the cage but Diamond circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Jack Diamond has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ringond Silver. Diamond throws a right and a left that Silver avoids nicely. Silver misses with the combination.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Silver closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Silver creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Diamond sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Silver wants to control but Diamond is keeping him busy. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Silver tries to clinch but Diamond moves out of range. Diamond looks to land a combination. Silver sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Silver shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Diamond misses with a body kick. Silver should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Silver scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Silver is looking for a kimura here.

Ringond Silver showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Silver changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Diamond tries to avoid it but Silver manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Diamond to the ground. Diamond escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Silver shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Diamond sprawls well. Diamond wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Silver gets slowly back to his feet. A punch combination from Diamond misses. Danga de danga de dang - Diamond scores with a four punch combination! Silver shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Diamond pinned against the cage. Diamond gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Diamond misses with a double jab.

Diamond throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Silver bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Silver throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Diamond's waist but Diamond gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Silver off to one side. Silver shoots in for a double leg but Diamond sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Diamond swinging wilding here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Silver shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Silver throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Diamond wants to control but Silver is having none of it. Silver stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Diamond stuffs the takedown attempt from Silver. Silver gets slowly back to his feet. Diamond throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Jack Diamond has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ringond Silver is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Silver shoots in and drives through. Diamond sprawls well.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Ringond Silver. I've got Silver winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
