The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Hastings as Jones shoots in.

Hastings feints and as Jones raises his hands in defense, Hastings changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Hastings will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Jones gets a takedown into half guard.

Hastings is doing well to control the position and prevent Jones from advancing to side control.
Jones throwing shots but Hastings is blocking nicely.
Hastings tries to roll over but Jones keeps him under control.

Trevor Hastings seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jones fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hastings, pushing him back against the cage.

Hastings escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jones on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Hastings thuds a left hand into Jones's body.

and Jones takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Jones fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

That was a close second round but I would say that Wess Jones will probably get the nod.

Jones will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.
Jones takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Hastings throws a combination. Jones tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Hastings drops Jones with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Jones! Hastings dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
